2025 NFL draft: Bills host oft-mocked Maxwell Hairston on visit

Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston is a 2025 NFL draft prospect that has been connected to the team in mocks prior to the event. There is a bigger connection between the two sides now.

Hairston posted to his social media account on Instagram that he was in Buffalo, presumably making a pre-draft visit with the team:

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. was among draft analysts who has mocked Hairston to Buffalo.

At the top of the depth chart is Christian Benford and Dane Jackson right now, with not a whole lot of depth behind them. The big question is who will be lining up on the opposite side of the field from him. That was Rasul Douglas’ job the past two years but he has not been re-signed this offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and he remains one of the best free agents available.

Is Hairston the answer?

Hairston’s draft stock makes him a prospect that the Bills might need to use their top pick on at No. 30 overall at this year’s draft.

Hairston, a junior, only played in seven games last season. However, he had five interceptions, including two pick-six touchdowns, in 2023.

Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 offseason.
