At least two people were rescued from the roof of a Russian hospital that caught fire on Monday, November 18, emergency services said.
Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations released footage of the rescues. Both men were seen being lowered from the roof and loaded into an ambulance on a gurney.
The Ministry of Health for the Sverdlovsk Region said roofing material ignited at an outpatient clinic, causing a fire at the Central Hospital Number 3 in the city.
People were seen jumping from windows to escape the burning building.
The health ministry said the men were two contractors carrying out routing repairs to the roof.
