OOPS: Trump Accidentally Gives Up The Game With Very Revealing Response

Generate Key Takeaways

President Donald Trump campaigned in large part on the economy as he railed against inflation and blamed rising prices on President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

And he insisted he’d be so busy making the country successful that “I’m not going to have time for retribution.”

But that changed on Wednesday night, just three days into his presidency, when Fox News host Sean Hannity tried to interrupt a rant against Biden and talk about the economy.

“Let me get to the economy,” Hannity interrupted. “I’m running out of time.”

“I don’t care,” Trump fired back as he continued to rail against Biden.

“They’re yelling at me,” Hannity said, presumably referring to his producers.

“This is more important,” Trump insisted.

“I agree,” Hannity replied.

“The economy’s gonna do great,” Trump said, then went back to attacking Biden.

Trump also hinted that he may have some time for retribution after all.

“I went through four years of hell by this scum that we had to deal with. I went through four years of hell. I spent millions of dollars on legal fees and I won, but I did it the hard way,” Trump said. “It’s really hard to say that they shouldn’t have to go through it also.”

When asked if Congress should investigate Biden, Trump said that was for them to decide. But he also noted that all the pardons Biden doled out means those people would no longer be entitled to Fifth Amendment protections and would have to testify against the former president in any proceeding.

And he pointed out that Biden failed to pardon himself.

But it was his “I don’t care” comment and insistence that talking about Biden was more important than the economy that caught his critics’ attention on social media:
