Field Yates named RJ Harvey one of his favorite RBs in NFL draft

The Denver Broncos picked running back RJ Harvey in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft last week. Harvey played college football at UCF, finishing his career with 1,577 yards on the ground and 22 touchdowns in 2024. Although small in height (5-8), he carries good enough weight (207 pounds) to be effective in head coach Sean Payton’s offense.

Field Yates had high praise for Harvey leading up to this year’s draft. Adam Levitan recently interviewed Yates on his podcast and the ESPN analyst said that Harvey was one of his favorite running backs in the draft.

The Broncos will feature Bo Nix once again as the quarterback this fall. A pick like Harvey will boost the offense at the running back position. The 24-year-old running back figures to serve as the RB1 this fall after Denver lost Javonte Williams during free agency.
