Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce have had a slew of celebrities and famous athletes on their hit podcast New Heights in recent months, from Ben Affleck to Caitlin Clark.
But there’s one very special guest coming to Wednesday’s special Mother’s Day episode: Glamour Woman of the Year Donna Kelce, aka âmommy,â according to Travis. And we have an exclusive clip of her appearance on her sons’ Wondery podcast.
The episode is centered around parenting to go with the theme of Mother’s Day. In the clip, Travis Kelce discusses how he was at first intimidated to sign up for youth football in his hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, because of the number of kids there, none of whom he knew.
Donna responded that she and her now ex-husband, Ed Kelce, did try to ensure they always knew or became acquainted with the coaches and kids on the youth sports teams their sons participated in, to ensure their sons were in a good and supportive environment.
âIt’s really important,â she says, âbecause as kids grow up, they’re not going to tell you anything, their going to tell their friends stuff and they are gonna get to their friends’ parents and talk to them. So, I think you just want to surround your children with a huge group of individuals that are of like minds.â
Donna Kelce, who was honored as a 2024 Glamour Woman of the Year, spoke at the ceremony about this âit takes a villageâ philosophy, saying she could never have successfully raised her sons as a working mom without the support of her friends.
âThank you to all those individuals who had to put up with my kids when I wasnât around,â she told red carpet hosts Brooke Shields and her daughter, Rowan Henchy.
