Fox News host Greg Gutfeld attacked Bruce Springsteen after the singer heavily criticized President Trump during an overseas tour.
“Trump has annexed the territory of common sense,” Gutfeld said on Thursday’s edition of “The Five.”
“And you have the Dems outside looking in, and they are convinced that it is just better to keep moving left than it is to just come join the fun, join the party, because they hate Trump so much,” he added.
The host mentioned recent comments by Springsteen calling Trump’s government “a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration.”
“By doing that, as you see with Springsteen, who is a p— for doing that in another country and not in America, he is — oh he said it,” Gutfeld added.
Springsteen has been a vocal critic of Trump and backer of prominent Democrats for years. During the 2024 election, he endorsed former Vice President Harris and played music at several of her campaign events.
In his most recent rebuke, the “Born to Run” singer targeted the president over threats to prosecute political rivals.
“There’s some very weird, strange and dangerous s‑‑‑ going on out there right now,” he told the crowd during his trip to Manchester, England. “In America, they are persecuting people for using their right to free speech and voicing their dissent.”
The singer added, “In America, the richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death.”
