Heartstopper Season 4: The Final Chapter Will Be a Movie

Heartstopper fans and long-term supporters of lovers Nick and Charlie want to know: will we be getting a Heartstopper season 4? The answer is…kind of. Netflix confirmed that the final installment of the beloved series will be a feature-length film.

It’s hard not to fall in love with Alice Oseman’s gorgeous queer graphic novels. From teen couple Nick and Charlie’s romantic story to the amazing friendship group they form, watching Heartstopper feels like sipping a soothing cup of tea.

“I am completely overjoyed that we will get to tell the end of the Heartstopper story,” Oseman told The Guardian. “I’m so grateful to everyone who has worked hard to make this possible and to the incredible fans of Heartstopper for your patience and passion. I cannot wait to bring this story to a magical conclusion.”

The show has garnered huge support and recognition for its spotlighting of queerness, gender fluidity, asexuality and much more for young people. It has also acted as a breakthrough for supporting cast such as Yasmin Finney, who has since starred in Doctor Who alongside Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa.

So, after season three’s coverage of Charlie’s mental health and the question of university for all of the gang, what comes next?

Here’s everything we know about the next chapter of the show, which sounds even better than a Heartstopper season 4.
