Forget the Blue Origin spacesuits, Jennifer Lopez’s pink jumpsuit will send you into orbit.
On April 19, the 55-year-old entertainer attended the final practice before the F1 Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia wearing a bubblegum pink zip-up jumpsuit that evokes the Y2K era in more ways than one. For starters, the look instantly calls to mind the red vinyl catsuit Britney Spears wore to travel to Mars in the “Oops!…I Did It Again” music video from the literal year 2000.
Unlike Spears, however, Lopez wore her shiny catsuit in a soft pink tone with mauve panels and a ruched belt, finishing off the look with a metallic silver clutch, pink plastic sunglasses, and a slick-back ponytail. Then there’s her shoes…
Jennifer Lopez doubled-down on a particularly controversial spring-summer 2025 shoe trend: the PVC pumps that gave us all sweaty feet in the early 2000s. It’s fully back, according to the latest runway shows, Kim Kardashian, and Victoria Beckham.
Of course, J.Lo is an expert at styling the naked shoe, regardless of the occasion or dress code. Earlier this month, Lopez wore the divisive footwear to a Broadway show, adding an unexpected twist to her beige linen suit with a clear PVC pump with an elongated pointed white toe.
