So many Love on the Spectrum couples found love this season—but did it last?
After three seasons of Netflix’s dating documentary series centered on singles across the autism spectrum, fan favorites Abby Romeo and David Isaacman have some company in romantic bliss. Multiple returning and new cast members from the US version of the series left this season with budding relationships that have continued to flourish once cameras stopped rolling.
Creator Cian O’Clery theorizes Love on the Spectrum veterans like Connor Tomlinson and James B. Jones are getting “more and more confident in themselves” as the series progresses, while newcomers like Madison Marilla and Pari Kim had the advantage of knowing what to expect after viewing the show for themselves.
“Whereas when we were warming up, everyone was like, ‘How is this going to work?,’ now they’ve seen the success and they’re ready for it,” O’Clery said in a recent interview with TODAY.com.
Without further ado, here are all the Love on the Spectrum couples that are still together—and what their relationship is like post-show.
Abby Romeo and David Isaacman
Season: One—Three
Their story: We’ve been watching Abby Romeo and David Isaacman fall deeper and deeper in love since season one of Love on the Spectrum. In the season three finale, the pair celebrated their three-year anniversary at a California winery, where Abbey sang her original song, “Boyfriend Forever,” in honor of her partner. In an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, she called the gesture “one of the most romantic things I’ve ever done in my life” and revealed the pair made a music video that will be released in April. The song itself is already available on Spotify.
Their fate: Though Abbey and David celebrated their third anniversary during filming, they’re actually about to hit year four this summer. While they discussed their wedding venue during season three, the pair tell Netflix their next visit to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park will be an anniversary celebration. “We are not ready to get married,” Abbey told Tudum. “But I wanted him to know that he is the best.”
