The billionaire with the good sense to stay out of outer space stepped out in Santa Monica for dinner at Giorgio Baldi wearing a mishmash of trends because, well, she’s Rihanna, that’s why. She topped her Canadian tux—baggy jeans and a denim jacket—with a fur shawl, and accessorized with large thin hoop earrings and strappy sandals that showed off her bright white pedicure. Though the star was layered up, there’s no mistaking the meaning in her choice of footwear: It’s almost summer, and white nail polish is back.

Speaking recently to Harper’s Bazaar, the mother of two opened up about her postpartum fashion mindset, revealing, “I feel like getting dressed is a fight on its own 1745302144. Everything is so … logical. What makes sense? What’s easy? What’s fast? I try not to overthink all that stuff, but you’re leaving the house. It kind of stops you from going out. How much energy do I have to put into getting ready?… You go through a fog. And fashion is so much fun, and I miss the fun.”
