The Savannah Police Department (SPD) responded to a March 15 stabbing in the 10000 block of Middleground Rd. that left one adult female dead, according to an SPD press release.
Officers responded to reports of a stabbing at around 1:15 p.m., the press release stated. After arriving, police discovered the victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was provided medical care and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries, according to the press release.
The investigation is ongoing. The press release urged anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
