Sean Payton’s daughter has made her prediction for who the Denver Broncos will select in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft.
Meghan Payton posted a picture of her mock draft on Twitter/X on Tuesday with North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton landing with the Broncos at pick No. 20.
There have been rumors this week that Denver could trade up for Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, and Meghan previously dubbed the Broncos as a dream landing spot for Jeanty in a FanDuel video earlier this month. (Meghan did admit she was “a little biased” about Jeanty’s potential fit in Denver.)
“Now, Denver has the 20th overall pick, so I don’t think Jeanty falls that far,” Meghan said. “This would have to be a trade-up situation where the Broncos trade up to maybe nine or ten … but I really love the way that he would fit in this Broncos offense.”
Meghan said Jeanty could be another “Joker” option for young quarterback Bo Nix, but she does not expect him to fall beyond the Las Vegas Raiders at pick No. 6.
With Jeanty unlikely to fall to Denver, Meghan now has Hampton landing with the Broncos in her latest mock draft. We’ll find out Thursday night if she got it right.
