Services have been set for the Greece Olympia High School teacher who died last week in a car crash.
Jillian Branciforte, an English as a new language teacher at Greece Olympia and a 2013 Hilton High School graduate, died in the crash just two days after the first day of school.
Calling hours and ” a celebration” of Branciforte’s life will be held during calling hours – from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday – at the Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane, Greece, according to her obituary.
Branciforte, a Greece resident, was survived by her parents James and Debra Branciforte, Siblings Chloe and Zachary Branciforte, her fiancé Chris Blyth and numerous other relatives.
Branciforte graduated from Hilton High School.
According to her Linkedin profile, she worked for Greece Central School District since 2018. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish from St. John Fisher University, and completed her masters in education at Nazareth College.
Further details about the fatal crash were not released.
Grief counselors are available for Greece Central School District students and staff, said district spokeswoman Laurel Heiden.
Memorial donations can be directed to Greece Olympia High School or St. John Fisher University, according to her obituary.
