PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Thousands are without power along the Oregon Coast Wednesday morning after a storm blew through the area.
According to Pacific Power’s outage map, as of 5:10 a.m. just under 17,000 people along the northern Oregon Coast, from Cannon Beach to Astoria, are without power.
While there is still no exact time frame for restoring power, Pacific Power said on X that crews are working as quickly as possible throughout Clatsop County.

On Tuesday, a High Wind Warning was put in place over the region and Pacific Power confirmed that the outages were due to damage from the storm.
The High Wind Warning ended at 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.
